According to the news release, David Lee Glaser, 34, of Columbia was found with a firearm in his waistband and a baggie of methamphetamine, after he was detained around 7:37 p.m. by officers in the 1700 block of Providence Road North. Glaser is being held for felony unlawful use of a weapon, felony possession of a controlled substance and for being a felon in possession of a concealable firearm. Bond has been set at $4,500 for each of the felony counts against Glaser.
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Columbia Police department is investigating a shots fired call tonight, March 18, 2016.
A press release from the Police Department states that around 7:34 tonight, officers were dispatched to 416 Vandiver Drive, Machens Vandiver Sales, in reference to shots being fired. A suspect has been detained by officers in the 1700 block of Providence Road in reference to the call.
They do not believe there are any other suspects and the investigation is ongoing.
