MERCER COUNTY, Mo. – Late Saturday afternoon, the Mercer County Fire Protection District responded to an EMS assist, where a person had fallen out of a tree stand.
An NTA Ambulance responded as well and provided patient care. Due to the remote location only accessible by UTV it was determined not to move the patient and an EMS helicopter (Lifeflight Eagle 3) responded to the scene and landed in a nearby field.
The name of the victim has not been released.
