UPDATE (01/13/2018) 12:20 p.m. – The victim of the shooting has now been identified as local resident Jack Price, 18.
The Blue Springs Police Department dispatched officers to the 100 Block of Vesper Street Friday at approximately 9:30 for a shots fired call. Once they arrived they discovered Price suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
The department indicates this is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information about this incident is urged to call them at 816-228-0151 or the on the TIPS Hotline.
BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Police are investigating, after an 18 year old white male was shot and killed in Blue Springs, around 9:30 p.m., last night.
